A lucky front shot of a male Mute Swan on a local park. He was with his polish variety partner, and ringed and approached me as I walked around the lake.
Hi Ralph, yes, I hope to be able to visit and check if they have bred. We lost a couple and all cygnets in other local lake and it should be nice to have another family to check up.
What a beautiful photo! I find swans very difficult to photograph - especially in an unusual way which you have done so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture. Half their female cygnets should be 'Polish' too, so there's a chance of getting a picture of white cygnets later.
